Teen Driver Belt Use by License Type & State Law

Fewer fatally injured teens behind the wheel were buckled up in 2011 than in 2008. That is why CHOP researchers examined self-reported seat belt use by teen drivers and passengers to see if primary seat belt laws are a potential strategy for increasing seat belt use among teens.
