How Passengers Affect Drivers Right Before a Crash

Peer passengers have long been known to increase the fatal crash risk for teen drivers. That is why CHOP researchers analyzed data from the National Motor Vehicle Crash Causation Study (2005-2007) to explore how driving with friends increases crash risk for teen drivers.
