Time Magazine -- Distracted Teen Driving: The Hazards of Having Friends in the Car

Time Magazine -- In this blog post from the nation's number one news magazine, new CHOP research funded by State Farm® published today in the Journal of Adolescent Health is featured. The unique pair of studies examine a major distraction for teen drivers -- peer passengers. The post explains the research that focuses on the factors that lead teens to drive multiple friends around, as well as how these passengers affect driver behavior right before a crash. Parents are urged to remain involved in their teens' driving beyond the learner permit phase.
