Atlanta Journal-Constitution -- Risky business: Teens driving with other teens

Atlanta Journal-Constitution -- Jessica Mirman, PhD, and Allison Curry, PhD, members of the Young Driver Research team at CHOP and authors of two new studies focusing on peer passengers and their teen drivers published today in the Journal of Adolescent Health, share their findings in this informative feature. This unique pair of studies describe the factors that lead teens to carry multiple passengers, a known crash risk, and then, how these passengers affect driver behavior. The article also reminds parents and teens about passenger restrictions as part of Georgia's Graduated Driver Licensing (GDL) law.
