Other Helpful Data SourcesThis website was created using research and expertise specific to the Center for Injury Research and Prevention at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, as well as other published research from around the world. This impressive body of scientific literature has helped to guide intervention design and policy to reduce teen driver-related injuries and deaths. We are grateful to our colleagues from many different research institutions and government agencies for their work on behalf of teen driver safety. Also, we have found the following data sources, operated or funded by government agencies, to be particularly helpful in describing the magnitude of the teen driver crash epidemic, as well as in shedding light on youth risk. All are available to the public and provide population-wide surveillance and trend data on deaths, injuries, and risky behaviors:
