National Teen Driver Safety Week

National Teen Driver Safety Week (NTDSW) is a time designated by Congress each year to raise awareness of teen driver safety topics and to encourage safe teen driver and passenger behavior. Now in its sixth year, NTDSW takes place October 14-20, 2012. This year’s theme is ‘Share, Not Scare.’ Although popular, research shows graphic reenactments of car crashes and other scared straight tactics don’t change behavior over the long haul. Instead,we encourage you to message to motivate by communicating the benefits of safe driving.
